Stability, Cooperation and Development: China and Europe Should Become “Trustworthy Cooperation Partners”

The relationship between China and Europe is being buffeted by two major changes: those in the world and in Europe. The world is undergoing a major transformation unseen in 30 years. The old order is collapsing while the new one has yet to take shape. Meanwhile, Europe is facing three major changes in its economic structure, political structure, and security and defense. Against the backdrop of growing uncertainties, the importance of China-Europe relations is on the rise, and so is their complexity. Although there is some competition between China and Europe, the overriding tone of their relationship is cooperation. We hope that China and Europe, with a cooperative mindset, will make joint efforts to further promote the development of China-Europe relations.
